Description
The left hand is at the centre of the body in front of the solar plexus, the right beside the chin, with the tsuba at mouth level. The edge faces forward and the sword leans slightly back. Hips are turned between hanhanmi and hanmi, feet about one foot-length apart, left foot forward. It corresponds to hassō in other schools.
